Payouts

Vendor payouts are automatic: settlement runs as part of payment confirmation and in scheduled batches. You can also send a standalone payout.

When a payment is confirmed, ledger entries are posted (received, fee deduction, platform-fee collection) and settlement computes the vendor payout as min(net, entitlement) — capped at the merchant’s ledger entitlement.

Batches are held for margin if provider costs exceed collected platform fees.

Events: payout.completed, payout.failed, and payout.reversed on reversal.

Terminal window
curl -X POST https://api.bizzle.my/v1/payouts \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_yourkey" \
-H "Idempotency-Key: payout-1042" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"amount": 47550, "currency": "TZS", "method": {"type": "mobile_money", "network": "mpesa", "msisdn": "2557…"}}'

The method is either:

  • { "type": "mobile_money", "network": "mpesa", "msisdn": "…" }, or
  • { "type": "bank", "bank_code": "…", "account_number": "…" }.

Returns { id: "po_…", status, provider_id }. List with GET /v1/payouts.

For buyer/seller flows, funds are held and released explicitly:

  • POST /v1/marketplace/payments — create and hold.
  • POST /v1/marketplace/release/:id — release to the seller.
  • POST /v1/marketplace/refund/:id — refund the buyer.
